Journey partners with Light the City for Fall 15 Accelerator

Journey Youth Ministries is an arm of Calvary Tabernacle church in Schenectady, NY. They exist to create a place where people can be loved by people who love God. Weekly engaging youth and adolescents with innovative programming and exciting experiences housed in a community center, over 200 kids,  Ages range from birth-highschool.

YouthBuild Schenectady is a nine-month program designed to engage at-risk, low-income young people, ages 18-24 that need to complete their high school education and receive career training. As an affiliate of YouthBuild USA, YouthBuild Schenectady is one of 276 YouthBuild programs operating in the United States. its mission is to assist young people in transforming their lives and communities through training, community service, and sustainable wages.

Safe Inc. of Schenectady is an organization that provides outreach, counseling, referrals, and shelter for runaway, homeless, and sexually exploited youth.

The purpose of Safe is to serve the youth and young adults who are at risk of sexual exploitation or have been sexually exploited.  Safe Inc. also serves youth and young adults who are runaways, "throwaways", and homeless. The agency is designed for the betterment of youth and young adults to become self-sufficient and productive with the attention to good citizenship.  The agency provides quality outreach, case management, and therapeutic programs both residential and non-residential with the aim of instilling the importance of self-dignity and enduring relationships.

Ring of Hope exists to develop the youth of today both spiritually and physically, empowering them to achieve a life of Success with Significance.

Their innovative one-for-one membership approach enables youth to participate in the program through adult gym memberships. Every new membership serves their purpose to help you "Get fit for life!"
